Demix Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Demix app. By downloading or using Demix, you agree to them. Demix is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard Apple EULA); where these terms add nothing, that agreement applies.

License

Demix grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Demix Pro (in-app purchase)

Demix is free to use for analysing songs and exploring every view. “Demix Pro” is an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks an unlimited project library, MIDI and project export, and synth playback. It is a single purchase (not a subscription) and remains unlocked for as long as the App Store associates it with your Apple ID; you can restore it on your devices at any time from within the app. Payments, refunds, and restoration are handled by Apple under the App Store's terms.

Your content and the music you analyse

Demix is a practice and learning tool. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any audio you import, and the separated stems, transcriptions, and exports you create are for your own personal use. Rights to the original recordings remain with their respective owners. Do not use Demix to infringe anyone's copyright.

No warranty

Demix analyses music with automated models; transcriptions, chords, and lyrics are estimates and will not always be accurate. The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Demix.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you use Demix as a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.

Changes

We may update these terms; the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
